Hurlock Fall Festival and Train Rides
DESCRIPTION: The festival gets into high gear on Saturday with a parade at 10AM. Elected officials, local fire companies, school bands, antique cars, and many others make the parade one of the highlights of the day.
Arts and crafts and food vendors are on hand from 8AM to 4PM. There will be music and entertainment plus free pony rides for smaller children starting after the parade and continuing until 2PM. In addition there will be a baby contest at Noon, a clown, face painting, carriage rides, corn hole tournament, and more.
You can also board the Hurlock Express and ride back in time. Relax and enjoy your scenic journey through some beautiful farmland. This pleasant round-trip train ride goes from Hurlock to Federalsburg and back. Train departs from the Hurlock train station on Gay Street. Tickets sell out ahead of time. Buy tickets before the event at the Hurlock Town Office (311 Charles St., Hurlock; 410-943-4181) from 8AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday.
